Surrounding its harbor and vastly populated by immigrants from the Old Continent, it is a faithful image of Argentina’s typical ethnic patchwork.

The Recoleta Cemetery is a must see. The San Telmo Market on Sunday is wonderful...a whole street full of artisans and vendors. There is lots to see and do and feels very safe in the area that we were in.

In Buenos Aires I suggest the Brazilians to take buying in Credit card, it is more cheaper than take USD and convert to ARS, this is my opinion. In the other hand take care of paying, most of shops didn't give you the "change", they say they don't have have it and didn't give you a discount.
In Palermo, I suggest eat at Bakano, a wonderful restaurant in the main spotlight of Palermo...
In Aeroparque take the official taxi by the QRCode available in the arrival, you may have 50% of discount in the regular taxi. In the Airport, I suggest you to eat before you got in the "gates", however you will only have Outback as a good option to eat. outside there are many other good as well.
And please do not forgot to taste the "Dulce de leche" ice cream!!!

Buenos Aires is a big beautiful city with lots to do.
Buenos Aires is a big beautiful city with lots to do. This was our third visit and we still found new places to go. This time went to Tigre area outside Buenos Aires and did the Buenos Aires City bus tour. Although Buenos Aires is a very busy live city I feel that traffic was not chaotic at all with no traffic jams. Wish we had more time to go to EL CALAFATE and Iguazo Falls again from Buenos Aires. Both places required that we catch a flight to. People are very friendly. This time round we did not use Metro or buses to get around.

Beautiful city, worth the moniker "Paris of South America".
Beautiful city, worth the moniker "Paris of South America".
Architecture, Boulevards, Cafes, that make you feel you're in Paris, next to vibrant, colorful Boca. Make sure to also visit (and take a boat tour) Tigre (a delta community).
We had wonderful weather the first days of March, good for walking, eating outside etc.

I very much enjoyed the historic docklands and especially the old museum ships berthed there. The numerous number of monumental Victorian buildings was impressive. However the poverty of many people sleeping rough on the ground and beggers on every street corner spoilt my overall experience.

Very fun city with great restaurants, lively atmosphere and lots of fun things to do including walking tours showing the culture and history. Fun street markets with dancing and music in the squares. Wonderful friendly street life nestled amongst vintage buildings and architecture from a grand period in the history of Buenos Aires.
Natalia is a fantastic host. She is SUPER friendly and very accomodating. She is a fantastic resource for history and things to do in the area. Anyhring to .ake your stay memorable. My flight landed at 10pm and she was there to greet me with the key near midnight!
She stocked the apt with fruit, eggs, cracjers and fresh made coffee.
The apartment is very comfortable and clean. I would recommend staying here because it is close to Recoleta, Palermo and the beautiful parks that are within a 15 min walk
Having a rooftop pool was amazing - a lovely way to chill after a busy day roaming around beautiful Buenos Aires!
The location is also very central so easy to walk to Plaza de Mayo, the first stop of the Hop-on-Hop off bus. Both Recoleta cemetery and San Telma are a comfortable 40 min walk away especially if you stop for a coffee on the way!
My room allowed me a view of the Obelisco which is the vente for celebrations like Argentina’s football matches or for protests so it’s a very happening spot!
From the moment I arrived @1AM until I left days later, the wonderful staff made me feel welcome and safe. Each member of staff was able to provide detailed directions about all the lovely places to visit in Buenos Aires and caution about what not to wear (flashy jewelry, designer handbags, etc.) or where not to go in order to avoid unsafe situations.
The convenient location (across from the famous cemetery and adjacent to Recoleta Mall) is robust with activity, people, restaurants and nightlife.
The hotel is well located to reach most major attractions in BA easily. The rooms are sweet and the bed is super comfortable. Also breakfast is really good and fresh, with great coffee that comes along. But the best benefit to mention about this venue is the staff - super friendly and helpful. And they all speak perfect English - which is not a usual thing - especially at smaller places - in Buenos Aires. Loved my stay here and would recommend it to my friends.
The Hostel is located in a residential area and has easy access to any district and sights nearby, especially to Recoleta and Palermo. staying in this hostel makes you definitely feel rather living in BsAs instead of just being a tourist. The common area is very comfortable as well as the balcony and the rooftop. This hostel is not a party hostel and has a more relaxed vibe. Nevertheless, i didn’t seem to very social either.
The location of the apartment seemed ideal to me. It is very close to all the attractions of Recoleta and Palermo. Walking the streets surrounding the building is an activity in itself as they are full of life and fun.
The apartment is comfortable and nice. I found the relationship between price and quality to be excellent since I noticed that my well-being and comfort was sought at all times.
The hotel is in the heart of a safe neighbourhood like Palermo Soho. The staff composed by Andrea and Nicola was really professional in accommodating my needs. I booked a single room and asked to check-in a couple of hours earlier, around 11. Once I arrived from the airport they upgraded my booking with a double room that was already available. Such a classy act.
We have stayed at the Melia Recoleta twice before getting onto a cruise ship in Buenos Aires. We came back the second time because of the friendly and helpful staff, its location, and the charm of the hotel. We have another trip to Buenos Aires in 2025 and we’ll definitely be staying at the Melia again. To all the staff, thanks for a wonderful stay.
Magnolia Hotel was a beautiful hotel with exceptional decor. The hotel staff, Maria, Agostina and Rosaria, were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our airport transportation issue (vehicle size) was resolved before we left Buenos Aires. We would definitely stay there again on our next visit.
The place is very well located in Palermo Soho close to a lot of bars and restaurants, as well as easy access to buses and public transport. Although central it is quiet and secure. The communication with doña Maria Eugenia was fast and very helpful. The apartment was just perfect for our stay in Buenos Aires.
Any location in Buenos Aires is good. Location of this hotel is OK but nothing to write home about. Walking distance to most places including city centre. Taxis are very cheap so you can get to most places of the city for minimal cost. Best shower of any hotel we have stayed at. Amenities very limited.
Roberto on reception could not have been more helpful. As it was our first visit to Argentina he explained everything we needed to know from sights to visit, to currency exchange. Hotel had everything we needed and was perfectly located in San Telmo to experience cultural elements of Buenos Aires.
Great location. We spent 2 nights in Buenos Aires after a 31 day cruise. This hotel was recommended to us. We were very happy with the room size and condition. The staff did their best (being that we did not speak Spanish) to get us taxis and tours. Highly recommended.
This is a lovely apartment in the heart of Recoleta. It was clean, comfortable, safe, quiet, and well-equipped. The two gracious hosts went out their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Should I find myself in Buenos Aires again, I will stay here.
small, stylish hotel with great rooms and very friendly staff at the front desk, room
service as well as in the breakfast room. great location in the heart of Recoleta. front desk informed about the best way to get USD exchanged at a good rate into ARS.
My first time in Buenos Aires and I could not be happier with my stay! The apartment was in a great location in Recoleta within walking distance of many great restaurants, shops, and things to do. A special shot-out to Ral for making my stay so great!
Best hotel in Buenos Aires! Great location. sound proof rooms with room darkening drapes. beautiful rooms and shower. outstanding breakfast. Best omelette and scrambled eggs. great variety of fruits and food! Wonderful and very helpful staff!
What a terrific little hotel! Our room was charming and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with recommmendations. It was nicely located and their breakfast was one of the best we had in our four weeks in Argentina.
This was a 5 star hotel at a very reasonable price. The staff was exceptional and incredibly helpful. The location was super convenient. The included breakfast was very god.
