Pleasant accommodation, conveniently halfway between the stations (ferry and bus) and the old town. Our hotel room's view of the water was blocked by a tin building that sold crafts, but it was nonetheless very relaxing, including a decent breakfast and a little patio off the bedroom. From there, one could sit outside if one could tolerate the mosquitoes rushing in, when the door to the patio was opened. (We were there in late March, close to the peak of the mosquito season.)
Only 1 block from Colonia del Sacramento's historical district, this hotel offers panoramic bay views, a beautiful heated pool and a hot tub.

A charming and lively town that was originally founded by Portuguese settlers. We visited in late march 2024. There were hordes of mosquitoes everywhere so it was very annoying. Apart from that it was a short pleasant visit.

Colonia is oversold as a place to spend time and chill out.
Colonia is oversold as a place to spend time and chill out. One day is enough to see the main sights. Uruguay is expensive and Colonia, for all its charm, feels like a tourist trap. Twice, we ate at establishments that had boldly signed food specials that somehow didn’t apply to us, even after checking with the server.

For me, Colonia is a one-night stay, or two nights maximum, if you are staying in a nice hotel with amenities or if you are planning on visiting a winery or taking a day trip from Colonia. The historical center is the only thing worth visiting, and you can probably walk it all in a day. It is VERY picturesque, the ultimate instagrammable old town, and has many good restaurants.

Beautiful outdoor pool in atractive and well-cared for garden. Very Very Very good outdoor pool in beautiful and well cared-for garden. Very good indoor pool.
Staff were helpful and ready to offer solutiions if needed. Friendly ambiance.
Rooms in the tower are spacious and confortable. Good sized bathroom, although being elderly we missed security bars in the bathtub.
Nice breakfast especially for sweet tooths. Food was very good at the restaurant but not cheap. It was disappointing the lack of flexibilitty to have food and refreshmente at tea time and no availabilitt of the nice pastries at mid afternoon.
Very relaxing and lovely place for a longer stay.

The daily breakfast felt SO SPECIAL! Herman greeted us each morning in the lobby area and prepared our light breakfast (fruit, croissants, panini sandwiches with ham and cheese, cake slices, etc.). This is a boutique-style hotel which only has a few rooms, so their level of service makes you feel quite special. On our last day, we ate breakfast on the very nice outdoor patio, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
We do not use the pool due to climate issues. The breakfast was very good and rich and we had dinner once in the hotel restaurant. We found the dinner very tasty, but the portions were a little small for the price. In any case, I value it positively. I really liked the room. Very spacious, ventilated and bright. I love the kitchennet because it allows me to prepare small things bought in the city.
The indoor pool was the main reason for booking and we enjoyed it very much. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choices. Dinner options were goos as well. The play room was a bonus. We played some ping pong. Our room was nice, clean, and spacious. A little noisy at night being so close to the rambla, but with the AC on it was better. And the view was magnificent. Watching the sunset is a must!
The place is great! Gorgeous on the outside, beautiful courtyard, everything looked good without being pretentious.
Spacious room, comfortable bed, large bathrooms, clean towels, shampoo and soaps better than the usual hotel amenities.
Breakfast, although small, was great, everything tasted fresh, we loved it.
This beautiful Posada was on a quiet street and minutes away from the historical center. The room was very tastefully decorated and spacious. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was elaborate with baked cakes as an option. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Colonia Del Sacramento.
The location of this hotel is great, an easy 15 minute walk into the main part of the old town. It was also very close to both the ferry and the bus terminals. The facilities are a little older but the hotel is very clean and the breakfast options are good. I would stay here again.
Very cheap compared to other accommodations in Colonia del Sacramento.
Basic but relatively comfortable.
The place is big and has two outdoor patio areas which are nice to chill.
There aren’t so many people so I had a 6 beds-dorm for myself.
Air-con works well. Hot shower.
The staff were lovely. It's a family run hotel and the staff really take care of the guests. We felt at home. The location is excellent: it is a short walk to both the bus and ferry terminals, but it is also only a little further from the historic centre.
Nice place to stay in Colonia del Sacramento.
The room was clean and the WiFi worked well.
The breakfast was okay and the location of this place is really good to discover Colonia del Sacramento.
The staff was very friendly and helpful
Location, opposite a lovely river beach with a "parador" serving delicious fresh food.
The hotel was located a 20 min walk from the old colonial centre.
You can walk along the rambla and watch the sunset from the hotel.
Great hotel, from breakfast to the bed everything was top. Great cleanliness, super friendly owner and very quiet. The location is also great, ferry, bus station and centre all practically on the doorstep.
A very nice hotel in the tranquil town of Colonia del Sacramento. The hotel is a short walk from both the ferry and bus terminals. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was a very comfortable stay.
Located right on the edge of the town, a small country house hotel with very charming service and good food. We stayed in a small house in the garden which was luxuriously kitted out.
The room was nice, especially the jacuzzi.
The breakfast was also very nice.
The hotel's staff was amiable.
The spa in the hotel and the massage was exceptional.
The rooms were spacious and well equipped. The location is nearly perfect, and the views are spectacular. We did not use the pool or other hotel facilities
