Only 30 metres from Puerto Morelos’ Playa Mar Beach and 400 metres from Plaza Central, Hotel Amar Inn features some rooms with sea view. Free Wi-Fi access is available. We arrived late and realized that we got scammed at the airport and also had a problem with our rental car. The owner helped us a lot and even made phone calls to try to solve our problem. He took a lot of his time very nicely. He also advised us on safety recommendations in Mexico then. We got upgraded to a bigger room as it was available. Breakfast was really amazing and local. We should have stayed longer.

This was the perfect place for our one-day stay in Bacalar. The owners were very helpful and did everything to make us feel comfortable. They gave great tips about things to do and where to eat and organised our taxi ride for the next morning. They even organised an early breakfast for us. Also, the complimentary bikes made it very easy to navigate the city. We would definitely stay there again.
