The property itself was gorgeous and exactly what we were looking for in a trip to the Cotswolds. Our room (#5) however, was disappointing. It seemed to take away from the charm of an old Inn with contemporary art and little charm. Our neighbors in Room #7 had the room we were hoping for!!!!

Beautiful updated property in the heart of Chipping Campden. It was well equipped for a long stay with laundry detergent and other amenities. Would definitely stay again. Loved the cozy beds and living area as well as meals in the bright kitchen. Had a toilet issue that was promptly fixed within just a couple hours of contact, so great service as well.

Manor was lovely, well done hotel in an old building. Grounds were also lovely and a pleasure to enjoy. We did take a walk to the neighboring little village, which was a nice option for a different meal.

Beautiful old building with much character and rooms with modern amenities for guest comfort. Loved the location and town. Many choices for sizable breakfasts. Room was spotless clean. The staff worked hard to make sure guests were taken care of!

it had a great location to do side trips to Stratford , Broadway etc the often found problem was transportation if you didn't have a car. You could often get a bus to your next destination but there were no satisfactory return offerings which made the hiring of a taxi as your only expensive option.

Chipping Campden is a lovely little town.
Chipping Campden is a lovely little town. It has some excellent restaurants and pubs, lovely little shops, tea rooms and beautiful architecture. There is a small ish coop, where you can get most your daily bits, but if youre planning on anything more, you may need to drive a little out of town.

Old Cotswold's market town.
Old Cotswold's market town. Very picturesque, lots of local independent shops with local produce and gift ideas. Very good restaurants, and local pubs. Busy on Saturday, parking on road is free, payable charge in car parks. Lots of tourists, but Sunday was quieter, especially Sunday evening. Nice place to visit. Charming small town with honey-coloured buildings, a variety of shops and eateries and plebty of interesting history. Parking was available - mostly on-street and it is a neat and attractive place. Collonaded old market buildings probably testify to the source of its wealth when wool was King. There is an interesting old church. Somewhat outdone by similar small Cotswold towns such as Broadway and The Slaughters, but it is a welcoming and friendly place that we were glad to revisit - even in the rain. Michael's Restaurant on the main street serves brillint food: it is tiny and you will need to book but you should enjoy a memorable meal!

The hotel and rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay and the food served in the restaurant is excellent. We ate in the restaurant each night we stayed and the food was amazing, capped by the last night with the chefs black lamb curry. What made our stay was the staffs high standard of service and friendliness. They were very welcoming to both of us and this extended to our dog who had a great time and innumerable dog biscuits.

After a beautiful breakfast at Badgers Hall, Chipping Campden provides plenty of places to eat and drink. It is also a very interesting little town well worth exploring. The silversmiths was very interesting and the small museum near to the church. The locals are a mine of information. Badgers Hall is one of the best B&B's I've stayed in. Everything has been thought of and the owners are lovely.

We used it as a base for cycling and exploring local villages for the weekend and it was great to come back to a lovely hotel. The chef was excellent and we really enjoyed the dinner and drinks menu. There are some nice outdoor seating areas and indoor lounges for drinks. The room was very comfortable and quiet - we got a great nights sleep. The pool was nice, although no hot tub. We would recommend staying here

Our hosts left fresh eggs, butter, bread & milk & there's a coffee set-up. So quiet & peaceful & a no more than a 30 minute drive to just about everything you want to see.
