Danny and Pauline were wonderful! It is a beautiful location and so peaceful. The little lamb they have was adorable. Sun a fun memory seeing and hearing the lamb bleat!
Breakfast was fantastic - a full Irish breakfast. Plenty of fuel as we went on our excursion and next leg of our trip.
Definitely recommend!!

Stunning area, if you're into landscapes or a keen walker or driver, this is the place for you. An absolutely underrated gem in a beautiful part of the world. People marring NI for its past reputation are missing out on some stunning places to see now.

Cushendall is a great place to base yourself.
Cushendall is a great place to base yourself. Harry’s is a great place to eat. Johnny Joe’s pub was a friendly, quirky pub to spend an evening in with wonderfully friendly staff and locals. Very close to wonderful beauty spots: Ballintoy harbour, Carrick-a-Rede, Cushendun Caves, Giant’s Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, Dark Hedges and Glenariff Forest to name a few.

Lovely village tucked away on the banks of a small river. Free parking by the river. All of the pubs were very friendly and welcoming. Everything is in walking distance. Glenariff Forest Park and the Hidden Village of Galboly are nearby attractions 10-15 minutes drive away.

Pleasant overnight stay.
Pleasant overnight stay. Quiet, well presented, fresh and comfortable accommodation at Glendale and an equally satisfying dinner at Harry's. Quaint village with peaceful beach set at a short walk's distance from the centre. Fly in the ointment was the non appearance of the bus in Carnlough to get us to Cushendall ..... We had to get a taxi instead and recommend CraicnTour for his friendly, obliging service which made our day specially memorable.
The view from Cullentra House is breathtaking! James and Olive went out of their way to get us a table in town and gave us a ride into Cushendall when we arrived after dark long after we had planned. The breakfast was truly exceptional--with a varied menu and delicious homemade pastries. It truly was the finest B&B breakfast that we experienced during our entire stay in Ireland! We definitely wished we had planned to stay longer at Cullentra House and will definitely plan to return the next time we visit!
Fabulous apartment (one of three) , beautifully furnished and very spacious with two double bedrooms. Kitchen was well equipped and the living/dining room was big and comfortable. We had a nice balcony with chairs, to soak up the sun with a morning coffee. Our host was very friendly and helpful and within calling distance, if needed. Our apartment was spotlessly clean and right on the main street of Cushendall. A great place to explore the Glens of Antrim and further up the coast.
The views from the property were spectacular and
the property itself was so spacious and clean.
Each bedroom having its own en-suite was amazing
for us as no fighting for the shower in the mornings.
It is only about a five minute drive from cushendall
village and beautiful cushendun also. The weather
was up and down so we didn’t use the outside area
as much as we would have liked but the kids loved
the garden when we did.
Really nice property with a wonderful family running it! It’s in a pleasing pastoral place just a very short distance from Cushendall. Sorcha really takes care of her guests! She even lugged two heavy suitcases up to our room. Had trouble working the shower on a Saturday night and her husband was there in a flash. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.
The Hosts were wonderful , left the essentials in the fridge and left a lovely basket of supplies for us , we had travelled to Cushendall for a sailing competition , and the property was very convenient to the sailing area, Rooms were Lovely , check-in process was easy and overall we had a wonderful experience.
This was our second stay, and can't fault it. We just love it here. The house itself is so cosy and traditional and homely, the views are superb, and the location is rural yet a couple of minutes drive to pubs and restaurants and shops. The dogs had a great time too.
Can't wait to come back again :)
Really clean, we even got a hotel like vibe from this cottage. It was perfect for us, we were there with family of four generations. Our 93 year old granny was able to get around the ground floor and use toilets etc too. Backyard was perfect for our two toddlers. Would definitely stay again.
The room was comfortable and clean but what really makes the stay unique was the host. She made us feel like family. With meeting us at the door offering tea and coffee to going above and beyond with breakfast. My sister and I are very happy we found this gem on the hills of Northern Ireland
We stayed only 1 night. The breakfast was well done and the beds allowed a comfy night sleep. I walked into town and took a hike in the am. Its a small village. Our host let us know that the restaurants were closed for some reason so we made sure we ate before arriving.
A really beautiful, spacious, comfortable, spotless, well appointed apartment in a fabulous location near great restaurants and beautifully scenic areas …super communication with our host.. nothing was any trouble.. Have stayed here before and would highly recommend
The cottage was comfortable, with more than enough room for 4 adults. The location is rural with good views, particularly from the front of the property. You do need your own transport. Cushendall is at least a 30 minute walk, along a fairly busy country road.
Absolutely first class place to stay, can not recommend this place enough. We were made to feel very welcome by Olive she provided us with coffee and scones which were delicious. The breakfast was as good as you would get in a top hotel. We will be back soon
The Captain’s Cottage was warm and welcoming when we arrived. There was a lovely welcome basket .
The property was really clean and the hosts were amazing.
The property was a short walk to the beach and the local pubs and restaurants.
It was a nice little rental. Despite being above a pub, it was peaceful and there were no disturbances.
Also nice that it’s across the street from a larger public parking lot. Street parking in downtown Cushendall can be tight.
The house is within walking distance to all Cushendall has to offer. The sea, the Spar and wine shop, bakery, butcher and restaurants. It is also quite spacious and can accommodate our large family. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Sarah was so nice and welcoming. Made us a great breakfast. The b and b was really nice, our favourite place we stayed on our holiday in northern Ireland. Really good value and so cosy just wish we had stayed here for longer.
Just back from a fantastic stay at the cottage.
4 adults and 2 kids.
Never knew how beautiful Cushendall was and its only 40 mins from my door stop. Would definitely recommend.
