Everything was close to everything, our hotel was like three minutes from the station. It was only 15 minutes to the mountain village where we saw cherry blossoms and a very nice zoo for 800 yen. It was a little bit cold and we were a few days late for the best cherry blossoms, but once we got settled it was a very nice 3 day visit. If you wanna eat good food for lunch you better do it before 2:00 PM because everything closes and then reopens at 5:00 PM. Nice restaurants we're closing by 8 PM. That was kind of strange.

A place to experience snow and a different architecture from the rest of Japan. I was curious (still I am) about details in the history of this region that makes it quite different from other cities down south of Japan. The landscapes are excellent. People are polite and so kind towards foreigners/ non-japanese speakers. The overall impression made me really want to extend my stay there, or at least come back to revisit the place very soon. I am not into skiing but this should be a great place for that activity, too.

It's in an amazing location, walkable to Sapporo Station via an underground walkway or streets, and about 15 minute walk from central attractions, and it is BEAUTIFUL. The staff were wonderful and very helpful when we arrived early as well as when we needed to get to the airport but the highways were shut down due to a storm. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable, and it was wonderful having cafes and bars attached to the lobby. We would absolutely stay here again!NatalieUnited States of America
