Los Mochis is our jumping off point for the Copper Canyon train. It was a nice town. The botanical garden was the highlight of this city. There are lot of children activities in the botanical garden. I never felt like a guest but rather part of the family, I even got invited to join the Alvarez family for Christmas Eve dinner by Cielo and it was an amazing evening! Overall an amazing stay!

There is a cafe/restaurant beside the hotel so you don't have to venture far for a meal. Room is no thrills, functional. Taxi from hotel to the train station, I was charged 180 pesos. Front desk staff are pleasant and welcoming.
