It was a lovely batch, clean and well thought out. The only thing was that my niece and I didn't have a car so we had to take a taxi everywhere and the price of taxis were starting to get out of control by the time we left. 50 dollars to get from the batch to the ferry when it was 24 dollars to get to the batch from the ferry....anyway...we had a lovely time and it got us away from Hamilton haha...nothing to do in that city...but thats another story. Waiheke was great!

Took my parents on a weekend getaway here, and it was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever come across! Such a beautiful cabin, clean and well looked after. Perfect location, right next to Mudbrick Vineyard and 10 min walk to Cable Bay! Will definitely come back!

Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find we had been given a free upgrade to one of the suites which had incredible views overlooking Oneroa! The suite was well equipped, tidy and clean and the bed was super comfortable. Tawa Lodge is in such a peaceful, beautiful location, very close to bus stops and only a 15 min leisurely walk into Oneroa. Highly recommend :)

Nice property nice location but $500 a night to look at scaffolding was NOT what we paid for a discount promised but never seen. Workman on the Friday on the scaffolding and water blasting meant it wasn’t as relaxing as we expected and couldn’t have the windows open

It’s a beautiful place, the views, pool, spa and bbq area are all stunning, such a lovely spot. It’s easy to get around Waiheke from here, by bus as well, we went to Ostend, Oneroa etc and had great food and walks. We enjoyed everything and it was very tidy and clean. The host Dan, was very accommodating and helpful with whatever we needed. Recommend!

We had a day and night to enjoy the area mid - winter, having visited 15 years prior. It was perfect timing for our needs/ travels around NZ North Island. Took our car on the ferry from Half Moon Bay having got a great deal to do so - and this made all the difference for the trip, enabling ready transport and high flexibility re: accomm choice.
Enjoyed a great breakfast at Mudbrick Winery.
Bought provisions from Countdown at Waiheke and enjoyed a terrific self - cooked pasta and red wine dinner at the studio apartment
(Anzac Studios).
Main purpose of the trip was to drive around to see parts of Island not seen previously, absorb the ambience, check out the main art gallery ( next to library), and relax at the apartment, taking in its lovely view.
