Chateau de Monrecour is located in Périgord Noir region, in the heart of the Dordogne Valley. It offers two heated swimming pools, a large south-facing terrace and a gourmet-style restaurant. Great hotel, a little bit of luxury. Breakfast had great variety of cold cuts, cheeses, fruit and eggs and coffee. Rooms were spacious enough, but the best part was the pool! Very pleasant and impressive dinner at the local restaurant. Staff were welcoming and friendly

Restaurant downstairs was high standard with charming staff, we ate there three nights. Highly recommended.

An amazing place in the middle of a vineyard in Pomerol. The close street does not disturb. The house is beautifully renovated. A fantastic mix of old and modern. The rooms are spacious. The reception very friendly and the tour and winetasting with Adrien was very good and interesting. We very much enjoyed our stay. Thx to the team of Château Bonalgue!

The best stay in Provence by far. From our lovely host Wendy to the beautifully restored property and scrumptious breakfast! We loved this place! So sad it was only an overnight stay and couldn’t enjoy the property and all it had to offer. Thank you Wendy for being so accomodating, for the tour of the property and attention to detail. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and luxurious. We’ll be back in warmer months so we can enjoy the beautiful pool and sample your local wines too. Cheers from Australia.
