Excellent hotel, in my opinion located in the perfect spot of the city (San Antonio), very close to Pelourinho but still outside the busy center. The view from the hotel is stunning and the staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. Highly recommended.

Situated within 2.7 km of Praia do Canta Galo and 1.1 km of Pelourinho, Pousada Des Arts features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Salvador. The staff was extremely friendly and the locations was exceptional in the old town, but still extremely quiet for sleeping. The building itself was so beautiful and showed an attention to detail. They also organized a really good tour guide for us.

The location is right in the center of the historical center. Short walk to the main plaza and secondary plazas. The cable car station to the lower city of Salvador is just a couple of houses from this guest house. The staff are super friendly too. I ran out of Brazilian money and he has someone who comes regularly to change money for a very good exchange rate. Don't change money at Salvador Airport. You will lose 20%.
