Just a short walk to the beach, Old Bones Lodge is located in Oamaru. The accommodation offers a spa and wellness centre, library and terrace. Free WiFi access is available. The views from the common room were amazing and the fire place created a comfy atmosphere. My only regret is that we did not stay an extra night. Hope to be back one day!

Featuring stunning views out to Lake Wanaka and the mountains, YHA Wanaka offers relaxed and welcoming hostel accommodation. The deluxe dorm comes with small kitchen and big space for 6 bed.Detached with curtains for each bed. Love the bed so much, I took a really good rest. We extended our stay after first night.

Offering barbecue facilities and sun terrace, Falcon's Nest offers spacious accommodation in Cromwell. Great value for money. Scrupulously clean. Communal sitting area comfortable with lots of sofas and tv. Kitchen was so well equipped and liked the dining area. Good communal bathrooms. Enjoyed meeting other travellers. Bedrooms are basic but that’s ok and for the price were great value. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the back verandah which has a lovely view. I would stay here again which says it all really.
