Offering a sun terrace and views of the sea, ATMA Hostel & Yoga is located in Huanchaco in the La Libertad Region, 11 km from Trujillo. The hostel is really great. Well equipped big kitchen, lots of communal areas where you can hang out and socialize, but also enough more cosy private spaces with hammocks. Dorm was spacious, clean, comfy bed and had curtains on the beds. Only 1 minute away from the ocean and one of the best hostels I have stayed in so far in Peru!!

Strenua - Las Quintanas is located in a commercial and residential area near the historic centre of Trujillo. This property is really nice, the staff were all friendly and helpful. Everything is clean, the rooms are spacious, at least the one we had. It included a bathroom, bedroom, a living room area, refrigerator, microwave. Our room here was bigger than some of the Airbnb properties we have been to. We thought it was nice that they bring your breakfast to you, since the rooms have a table area where you can eat. The shared kitchen has everything we needed. Hot water always available. The area that the hotel is in feels safe and is pretty close to everything, maybe 5 minutes' walk from the central plaza, very close to multiple grocery stores, lots of restaurants, etc. The place is located in a quiet street. The airport transfer service is reliable. Definitely one of the nicest places we've stayed in, if not the nicest.

Dream Place Trujillo offers rooms in Trujillo near Trujillo Municipality and Trujillo Main Square. Featuring a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The room was was clean and comfortable. We especially liked the bed since it had a comparatively hard mattress. The staff was also very friendly and allowed us to leave our baggage at the reception on our last day until our bus left in the afternoon.

Located 30 metres from El Helio beach, 200 metres from Los Pinos main street and commercial area, My Friend Surf Hostal offers free Wi-Fi, a terrace, a bar and BBQ facilities in Huanchaco. Randy and all the stuff were really nice and helpful!! We did three surf lessons and you can also rent a surf board. The breakfast is very good and the restaurant is cheap and tasty! They clean every day. Hot shower.

Boasting a bar, Pointbreak Surf Camp is situated in Huanchaco in the La Libertad region, 300 metres from Huancarute and 300 metres from El Mogote. Amazing vibe in the hostel, somehow it attracts the perfect mixture of people. Most importantly, it's right in front of the surfspot. Audrey and Joan make sure you feel welcome and will help you with anything you need. One of the dorms has a seaview from the beds if you turn the pillow, I've never had that in a dorm before. You can hear the sound of the ocean to fall asleep.

717 Pizarro guesthouse in Trujillo provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. It has an excellent location. Right at the historical center. Despite its location on the main business street, it is surprisingly quiet at night. The building itself is also a beautiful historic building from the republican era. The hotel owner is so nice, giving me all local insider’s tips about the city. He also helped me booking a tour around the archeological sites nearby for no commission fees.

Located in Huanchaco, within 200 metres of Huancarute and 600 metres of El Mogote, Surf hostel My Friends provides accommodation with a garden and a bar, and free WiFi. Incredible hostel For surfing holidays, un front of the beach break. The staff un the hostel un very humble and the food Is just incredible ! Highly recommended ideas supposed to stay 2 Days ended up staying 5, fun surf lesson , had me standing up on the first wave!!!

Situated in Huanchaco, within 400 metres of Huancarute and 1.1 km of El Mogote, Urcia Surf House features accommodation with barbecue facilities and free WiFi. This is a really nice small hostel. The kitchen is well equipped the bathrooms are clean and the rooms as well and the wifi is working well as well. Since they also run a surf school and many things are run by volunteers (greetings to Margaux, you did great job) you will most probably meet many enthusiastic surfers, which is great! Really recommended stay in Huanchaco.
