The hotel entrance and common areas are super nice, the room was big and comfortable, the bed was huge and the room had good ventilation, the location is as central as it gets, the staff was super welcoming, friendly and helpful. Honestly, if I return to San Matin, I'll probably stay here.

Only 150 metres from Aluminé Lake, Puerto Malén offers rooms and self-catering bungalows with wood furnishings and a bar area with lake views and a garden in Villa Pehuenia. Very nice and big room with a view, comfortable beds, the shower had great pressure and there was a spa bath tube Super friendly staff that greeted you with a smile every day and did everything to make our stay as good as possible,, great Argentinian breakfast . Don't forget to ask the reception about the great traditional indigenous Mapuche restaurant , a very nice experience !

The perfect place in La Angostura. Close to the major hikes/excursions in the area. Very accommodating. Covers the essentials, too: fast WiFi, clean, etc. Recommended for both Americans and Argentinians.

Located 500 metres from Lacar lake and 20 km from Chapelco ski centre, Las Walkirias features a sauna and seating area with fireplace. San Martin Avenue is 100 metres away. Excellent hotel, so comfortable and lovely inside. Location is really good as well. Can highly recommend.

Set in a charming wooden house featuring a winter garden overlooking Cerro Bayo Ski centre, Hosteria El Establo offers rooms with free Wi-Fi in Villa La angostura. Breakfast is provided. Beautiful building construction, lots of natural wood and exposed beams. Only 2.5 blocks from the bus station; we were able to walk. So it was also just two blocks back to the main street with lots of food choices.

Clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, and great location. The breakfast is much better than normal Argentine fare with meat, cheese, fruit, yoghurt etc. .... all that and great value too.
