It is only a few minutes walk from the lakeside. There has been so effort put into decorating the shared spaces and rooms. There is a huge shared kitchen that is fully equipped for cooking. Over the course of a month or so of traveling, this was my favorite place I stayed. The first thing that happened upon arrival and check-in was that I found out about a classical concert that was beginning shortly and the hostess was kind enough to give me ride along with her family to the event. The room was perfect for a solo traveler. The location was excellent, with hiking trails, several restaurants, and a bar open late nearby. Breakfast was outstanding. The feel of the place couldn't be much more cozy. The hostess and her family were delightful. Will be back!

Situated within 19 km of Puelo lake and 28 km of Cerro Perito Moreno - El Bolson, Alas Cabañas offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in El Bolsón. What a hidden gem. I needed a place to stay last minute, and this was one of the only places I could find. I really lucked out. This is a family run spot and from the minute I got there, I was treated like a member of the family. If you want all the stuff that goes along with a big hotel, maybe this isn't your spot. But, if you want a very comfortable cabana and the chance to meet and interact with a very nice local family while taking in amazing mountain views, then this is for you. As a solo traveler I highly recommend it, for the experience and interaction.

Featuring a big garden and an organic orchard, Los Juncos Patagonian Lake House offers 5 unique rooms in a charming Alpine-style house in front of Nahuel Huapi Lake. The Patagonian Lake House is an excellent place to stay. All rooms have a view over the lake. The interior is very well designed and cozy. In the surroundings you will find nice little restaurants of every price level. Opposite the house there you will find food trucks that offer take away food, within 100m there is a supermarket. You can ask for dinner in the Patagonian Lake House as well. Only 5km away there is the Llao Llao Peninsula, from where you can do hikes, bike tours or boat trips on the lake. The scenery is amazing. You can get there easily with public transport.

Nice place, walking distance from the most interesting parts of the town. We got a room with some lake view. Good value!
