This was my first time staying at a hostel and I was hesitant to do it, but the service was incredible and I did not feel much difference compared to hotels. Very clean rooms and restrooms. Staff is super friendly and humble. Breakfast was fresh and very tasty with so many varieties. Location is great for anyone visiting Salvador, Bahia. I met people from all over the world, including Europe, North America, South America. I had an unexpected incident during my travel and the hostel staff including the owner (Olivier) were super helpful and assisted me in every way possible. Definitely coming back if I visit Salvador again.

Set in Trancoso, 600 metres from Quadrado Square, Calypso INN features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi. Lovely property! Nice environment and staff. The breakfast is really good and the chalets very comfortable.

Amazing location, 5min walk from the port; direct access to first beach. Friendly and efficient staff (reception, kitchen, housekeeping). Very clean and beautiful hotel. Great breakfast buffet, lots of options and different every day. Splendid pool overlooking the ocean + bar next to it. Lots of small attentions that make all the difference: the towels made as swans, the flowers, the welcome cocktail, the bracelet that gives you goodies at certain restaurants and bars. Wonderful stay in a paradise island. Would definitely come back!

Pousada Trancoso Bahia is a charming guesthouse surrounded by rich vegetation just 500 metres, in the trendy Trancoso beach. clean room with comfortable bed. each room has its own hammock. breakfast is great. good location, very close to the square with all restaurants and not far from the beach as well. helpful and reactive staff

A Pousada da Mangueira szálláshelye szabadtéri medencével és gyönyörű kerttel várja vendégeit, egy igazán csendes és biztonságos környéken, Salvador városában, mindössze egy rövid sétára a népszerű... The staff is lovely and very helpful with touristic information as where to go and what to eat. The hotel is walking distance to Pelourinho, during the day is very safe to walk around just as per normal when in Brazil, be aware of your stuff and you will be fine. My family felt safe to walk back and forth Pelourinho while we stayed there. (there's amazing clothes shop for ladies/cheaper than Pelourinho just on the bottom of the street!!) The breakfast is simple but fresh cakes and juices every morning, you can relax by the pool and buy beers at the hotel. The rooms are clean and the bed is super confy. We would definitely come back.

Aqua by Sambass is set on the beachfront in Morro de São Paulo, a few steps from Second Beach and 400 metres from First Beach. It was pristine and, while at the end of the main drag of the second beach, was very quiet. We had a wonderful view of the ocean and enjoyed the pool on the balcony. The breakfast every day had an outstanding spread.
