Set high above the village of Charlestown of Aberlour and overlooking the River Spey, this elegant country hotel is an ideal venue for shooting and fishing, and for whisky-lovers. The evening meal was exceptional as was the breakfast. We had a wonderful stay, the weather wasn't brilliant but we cosied up in the bar with the log fire!

Breakfast was made to order and was amazing to say the least!!Would definitely recommend this place if you are visiting the area..It is at the end of a quiet street right by the River Spey.

The Stotfield Hotel is an old building with plenty of character. The room we had was large with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage space for clothing. Our room had a view over the Moray Firth which was amazing. Breakfast was included with the room price. It was a buffet style with the hot food being freshly cooked and regularly replenished. We were most impressed with the staff who were friendly, professional and very welcoming. We felt that overall that our stay was good value for money.

I have stayed at this hotel on about 5 occasions. The location of the hotel is very good with fabulous views across the Moray Firth. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and have tea and coffee making facilities. On this occasion, I didn't have the evening meal, but the breakfast is very good and suits me very much with what i like to eat on a morning. This hotel is extremely good and is well placed near the golf course in Lossiemouth.

Absolutely beautiful food, for all meals. Staff couldn’t have been any more attentive and polite from the checking in desk to the bar staff . The room was very clean and comfortable especially the bed and for someone who suffers with a bad back a good nights sleep in a hotel doesn’t happen often. Great location in the town of Lossiemouth which provides a great base for exploring wider Moray coast area. Although the room was bit small it was clean, tidy and well appointed. Quiet at night and a nice relaxing place to stay. Staff were very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend the Firth Hotel and would have no hesitation returning for future stays.

My wife and I certainly enjoyed our stay and especially in room 8. This room overlooked the golf course and the Moray Firth . The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. Our evening meal and breakfast was to a high standard. We would certainly highly recommend this hotel to others. A most enjoyable stay and we will return again.
