There are separate areas in the hotel for dog friendly breakfasts so non dog lovers can also enjoy their space. The dog friendly areas are by no means second class, in fact we preferred them.

Situated in Amesbury, in scenic Wiltshire, The George Hotel, Amesbury, Wiltshire is a 5-minute drive from Stonehenge. Everything. We were travelling around Northern Europe and Uk for a few weeks. The George hotel was the last port of call before returning to Spain via Portsmouth. We really regretted not being able to stay for more than one night. The hotel was beautiful, warm, clean and friendly. The bed was so comfy and inviting. The bedroom very spacious. Shower was hot and powerful. Some lovely touches too. A little duck sitting in the shower base 😁 We stayed in hotel for evening meal which was lovely. Great choice for breakfast too. Would highly recommend and if ever in the beautiful area, would return.
