Surrounded by a vast jungle, Casa Ka’an is an eco-friendly property that functions with solar panels, solar water heaters and biodigestors for waste water treatment. A very spacious and well equipped one bedroom house well located amongst nature for privacy. We used the kitchen to cook lunch in our place and had dinner at the restaurant. We had several entries and the food was really good. The reception and restaurant area is well designed, incorporating nature into the experience. At night time, when the lights go on, the place looks magical. Our Casa had a hammock outside, perfect for reading in the mornings. The bed is very big and comfortable. The fridge is stocked with goodies that can be purchased from the hotel. There was a wine selection included in our Mini Bar Menu as well. The feature that surprised us the most was that the Casa was a smart home and Alexa controlled the lights and AC while keeping us entertained with her music choices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our waiter told us about the Hummingbirds they feed in the mornings and it was a nice addition to our trip seeing them at breakfast. The hotel also handles tours for surrounding ruins and sites to visit. It is definitely worth the visit and we regret not staying another night or two.

Very dedicated to the cause owner, had inexpensive delicious dinner there (fish in garlic sauce, french fries, rice, veggies), the owner Sergio truly tries you have the best experience there. Sea across the road, nice to look at, but windy, not inviting to swim in. Owner however has kayaks and you can take them to the lagoon on other side of property. Beds comfy, quiet area, all was great. Only small negative, it's a bit out of the way, part of the road bumpy ride. Txs, Sergio, we will fondly remember your lovely place!

Beautiful property, courtyard behind an unassuming door on the street. Room was spacious and well fitted. Wi-Fi was great. Staff were really helpful. A lot of amenities on site, such as access to a kitchen with bottled water available to take and fridge that could be used. The shower in our room was exposed to the rest of the room, but we were fine with that, just a warning though.

Just 2 blocks from Campeche Cathedral, Hotel Plaza Colonial offers an outdoor pool, free private parking and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. Excellent location in the city centre, close to the seaside as well. Spacious clean rooms decorated in colonial style. We even had a bathtub, which was very helpful with the kids. Good water pressure and temperature. Friendly, helpful staff. The room was really quiet, even though there was quite a lot of traffic in the street it faced, due to the good sound isolation in the windows/balcony. The view from the balcony was nice and there was private parking in the courtyard. We were even allowed to keep our car there after the checkout to enjoy a bit more of sightseeing.
