Rooms were comfortable, clean and offered all of the essentials. The staff were extremely attentive, kind and helpful. Nikhil tailored a full itinerary for each day, with a driver too. Any issues, questions or needs were addressed immediately and with a smile. Couldn't have asked for better hosts. The food was beyond description. A varied menu is available as well as local off-menu delicacies. Breakfast was sensational with a different dish each day. The portions were colossal, we were always full until dinner. Woodrose Resort in Kalpatta has a garden and a shared lounge. The property is located 11 km from Soochipara Falls. Asian cuisine is served at the restaurant. The stay at resort was wonderful. The manager of the resort, Thomas made our stay as a complete bliss. The service, hospitality, place, climate, all was top notch. The room and bed was little small but well maintained. The manager took special care of our every needs from food to all other services. Food was very hygienic as well as tasty and felt as home prepared as we didn't had any stomach issues. Overall this is a must try resort to stay at Wayanad.

Offering tree houses, heritage suites and pool villas, Pepper Trail is set in a 200-acre coffee and spice plantation. We spent three nights at Pepper Trail and haven't stopped recommending it to family and friends! The setting is stunning - green and lush vegetation on a coffee (and tea) estate that seems to go a long way. Food was excellent - we had dinner there every night and the vegetarian fixed menu was tasty, varied and beautifully presented. The jeep ride through the estate was informative and great fun, as was the bird walk with Gayathri. All the staff were helpful and friendly. A peaceful and relaxing stay in a remarkably beautiful setting - what more could you ask for?
