The location was just outside of the city ring, probably walkable in warm weather, but in the cold wet winter, we opted to take an Uber into the city center. Quick10-20 min depending on how much traffic. Loved the extra charging cords in the room!

Set within 40 km of A'DAM Lookout and 41 km of Amsterdam Central Station in Alkmaar, RITCH Hotel Alkmaar offers accommodation with free WiFi and seating area. The facilities were exactly what we needed. We were able to do some light-cooking, laundry, and had a living space to unwind. Bedroom was spacious and comfy as well. Location is a 15-20 minutes walk from the train station, but right at the fringe of the city center. We were able to make it for the Cheese Market in a <5 minutes walk. It was easy to check-in (digital key) and the host was flexible and patient when we had to check-in late. Communication via WhatsApp was really smooth.
