Even though we arrived late and were just passing through, we were warmly welcomed. The collector and inventor has put many things together to create a really interesting place to sleep. San Andres has the third coral reef in the world, just that is enough for you to enjoy the trip if you like snorkling or scuba diving. One tour is the one in the pontom were they take you out to different islands and you can go down and explore more the ocean. It is a paradise the color of the water is something out of this world so relaxing. They are excellents restaurants to enjoy and choose from. Even if you like shopping there is a variety of stores.

Beautiful Island, love the sand and clear water.
I spend my time at the beach.
Also going to the aquarium and see the different fish and the beauty of the under sea was my favorite adventure.
Next time I will stay longer to go around the island.
The apartment #402 at Bay Point Punta Hansa was fantastic, beautiful, love the place and the area. specially the view from the Balcony.

Wonderful island!! Beaches are amazing.
Wonderful island!! Beaches are amazing. Just be aware of the night tours, they offer a party show in a cruise and this is a very bad experience and expensive for tourists. The drinks served in the ship are bad quality and a lot of people were sick afterwards. There is no show or animator, its just a way to rip off tourists

Moving from Hotel San Luis Place to a different hotel was my best decision. My second hotel La Reina del Mar was located on a lovely palm tree lined sandy beach. The beach was cleaned daily and had access to a bar and restaurant staffed by extremely polite and friendly staff.

Loved the water. The tours were great.
Loved the water. The tours were great. There is placed call white water and i love it. What i dislike of San Andrés is that some places were so dirty. Buildings need to be repair. Shops should sell clothes for people of plus size and should be more accesible for handicapped. I will definitely come back to San Andrés because of the beautiful water and the beautiful people. I was impressed how people in the island speaks several languages
The staff is great! Alex was really welcoming and ready to help us. Big thank to Jesus who prepared us every day a lovely breakfast and made us fell like at home. The rooms were well furnished and offered all the necessary equipment to travellers (towel, USB port etc). The hotel, located outside of the town, offers the perfect location to enjoy calm and nature. There you can both enjoy a swim in the pool or the sea. The fact that the hotel also rents scooters is a big plus, as it allows to discover the island pretty easily.
The location is fantastic: this hotel is directly at the beach and it has nice beaches. With some trees and palm trees for those who want shade, or very nice areas for people who want to enjoy the sun.
The food is wonderful: the best food I tried during my time in San Andrés and Providencia. The coconut rice... ache, I still dream of it. Cocktails were nice.
Beds were really comfortable.
It was clean.
The personnel was very kind.
If I go to San Andrés again, I will stay in Hotel Cocoplum Beach.
This is a beautiful hotel (indeed more a complex than hotel with a number of separate buildings and bungalows) on the quieter, "West End" side of the island, well removed from the noise and traffic of Centro, with very nice facilities. It offers a beautiful view out onto the ocean and a good pool to relax by at the end of the day. In short, it offers a very tranquil, comfortable environment in which to unwind. The staff across the board were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
I really like the place, the posada has a lovely garden and my room had a hammock outside.
The owners were very welcoming, they always gave me coffee in the mornings and gave me suggestions on what to do.
I worked for a few days and the Internet worked great.. however keep in mind it is an island and it can fail sometimes.
The posada was right in the center, 10 min walk from the beach and another 10 to the marinas. There are a few local and cheap restaurants around as well.
It was such a nice and authentic experience living right in a community of real Raizal people. Rose, Kev and Cynthia are very nice and kind human beings and Rose always has your back with awesome food and breakfast and is eager to tell you about her family and people's history. I really enjoyed our conversations.
Also you are a little bit more off-center, so a perfect place to relax with actually the most beautiful beach of the whole island right next to it.
- the location is really good. not even a 5 min walk to the closest beach. busstation to explore the island is right outside the door and also a supermarket is right next to the accommodation
- you can borrow snorkeling gear and swimming shoes
- you can leave your luggage at the property after checking-out
- good explaining at check in on what to do on the island
- it's not a party hostel
The Hotel was perfectly located and more than what we were expected. While you are resting at your room, just in a one minute you can join in a party at pool side and enjoy the swimming. Me and my frind really love this availability. If I go again to San Andres island I would definetelly stay at same hotel. In the garden side you so many alternatives to spend your time.
The staff ist very helpful and fast. They do not expect a tip like in other all inclusive resorts and treat everyone well. The beach and shops are super close but you have to pay extra (its not a hotel area cause of colombian law). The pool area is big. The food is good - for all inclusive 1 and they give you premium alcohol/drinks (absolut v., barcadi, coca cola etc.).
This is a beautiful unrestored 98 year old wooden Caribbean house with a balcony overlooking tropical scenery and the
Caribbean sea. It's a 15 minute walk to the best beach on the island. If you are not looking for modern facilities, this hotel is by far the best value on the island. Most hotels on San Andres are overpriced, this place is really a bargain.
The areas of the hotel included the room are beautifully decorated. The experience is very nice and the attention from everyone is awesome. We received all the information at the reception desk to enjoy our stay in the island, and they always helped us to book transportation and other services.
The house is in a quiet part of the island and the owners are very nice people. You really feel welcome and I could have stayed much longer. Make sure you do your shopping in the centre before you go there so you can use the perfectly equipped kitchen.
Breakfast was amazing. Hotel was great for an island so good as expected. The doorman John is the man. Overall for San andres I’d say the best overall but not super luxurious hotel from an American stand point overall would definitely be back.
The property is in a good location, right across one of the main beaches of the island. It also has a partnership with the hotel Cocoplum by the beach where hosts can enjoy a nice breakfast and free sun beds
The hotel is at the best location of the island. The room is comfortable and spacious. The staff is gentle and always attentive to support you. Best breakfast buffet without any doubt!!
I liked alot the room, it's very comfortable and very quiet and relaxing place to stay.
I loved the chef, he is the best. One of the kindest person I met there at the island.
The staff was awesome, really nice people. They organized activities every day: snorkeling trips, island visits, dance classes. Fun bar at the top floor.
