We stayed in the family room which gave us our own private bathroom opposite. Bathroom was nice and modern and the shower was great. The room was very clean the beds were really comfortable with nice cozy duvets and extra blankets available if needed. They have a restaurant/bar where lots of locals come for their homemade pizza. Darren and the rest of the staff were great, thanks guys 🙂 A great place to stay if you are planning on climbing Snowdon only a few minutes drive away for parking. About 30 minutes drive from one of the zip world locations in Betws-y-Coed.

In my opinion, Llanberis is an amazing place to stay.
In my opinion, Llanberis is an amazing place to stay. The town has all you can need without being a snobby destination.
It's the perfect gateway for walking snowdon or taking the tram to the top.
I'm afraid I can't comment on local restaurants as I've only ever used the chip shop, but that is superb so I would assume other places are just as good.
Would make an amazing stop off for those wanting to explore more of the beautiful national park.

If you like nature and walking, this is the place for you.
If you like nature and walking, this is the place for you. Stunning and we particularly liked the walks around the Llanberis lake and up to the waterfall. There are some shops in the village but it is not that well equipped for proper food shopping. However, we arranged a food delivery from Asda which arrived promptly.

Llanberis is ideally located for the easiest walk or train...
Llanberis is ideally located for the easiest walk or train up Snowdon, our main reason to stay here. Many other more difficult walking options are a short car or bus journey away, be warned the popular car parks fill up very early in the day and some like Pen-Y-Pas must be prebooked and are very expensive. A few miles further away there are an almost infinite list of other walking routes that will be much less crowded. Be warned that none of the routes up Snowdon are easy, you should be fit and prepared for cold wet and foggy weather, any time of the year. Llanberis has a few shops, pubs, cafes and restauraunts although when we stayed in late March many were closed, I guess the season starts after Easter.

Llanberis is the ideal location to start your trip up to Llanberis path to Snowdon. We were also able to walk to the Slate Museum & Dolbadarn Castle. If you want to get the train to the top of Snowdon, the station is located in a visible easy to reach location, with a car park about 1 minute walk away. Also, just off the high street we found a beautiful waterfall named Rhaeadr.

LLanberis is beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay there.
LLanberis is beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay there. If you're there to see the sights, make sure you're traveling all around Snowdonia! In particular, some of the northern region has amazing landmarks, such as Corfe Castle.
There's a bus service that can transport you around the area - we stayed in the YHA in Pen Y Pass, and caught the bus from there to the nearest cheap car park in the morning to save some money.
This hotel is a little gem! Our room was super cute and comfortable. The location is perfect and very quiet. The staff are really friendly, welcoming and cook up an amazing breakfast. Best coffee ever!! We came to hike up Mount Snowdon so having that full breakfast was the absolute perfect way to start that journey. Rooms are clean and have a good amount of space. Having the fan in the room was fantastic as it was quite warm during our stay.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great for Snowdon hiking or train rides and close to drive to Caernarforn Castle and other sites. It was great to have parking on site and a bar and restaurant also on site. We walked to the local castle and the waterfall. It was also walking distance to other shops and restaurants and the lake and mountain railways. The bed was really comfortable and it was a very nice size room.
Breakfast was good, well-cooked and tasty. A few more options would have been appreciated e.g. fresh fruit and natural yogurt.
Our room was lovely with views across the front garden and the main road through Llanberis.
Location was first class being a short walk to the Snowdonia Railway Station, the Slate Mine Museum, Castle and the Lake Steam Railway.
We enjoyed watching the squirrels that live in the front garden.
loved everything about the place. The decor is beautiful
and can tell a lot of thought has gone into it, the bed was
the best bed we’ve ever had at any hotel/bnb. The location
was perfect for us as we were a 15 minute walk from the
Llanberis path up snowdon and we had the beautiful lake
a stones throw away. The owners were lovely and we
honestly couldn’t fault the place.
The hostel gets a bit lost in that it has one of the best locations in the UK, because it does have the facilities expected and at a very good level too.
But none the less, my likes: Great location, good food, comfortable stay, calm, easy check-in and check-out, and definitely great location!
Free parking is available if lucky enough.
Good central location for travelling around North Wales. Property was tidy and very quiet, never disturbed by cars or neighbours. Bedrooms were well presented and beds was very comfy. Kitchen was adequately equipped with local shop approx 10 minute walk away. Good selection of local pubs and eateries in the surrounding area.
The owners of Lake View Hotel were very friendly and accommodating. They have really made the hotel a home from home. The fire place in the lounge was lovely and warm after a cold hike up Snowdon. The breakfast was exceptional. Definitely a great place to use as a hub to explore the local area.
I didn't manage to get to Wales this time so my review covers previous stays. I love the place! Really friendly family, really clean and cozy room, brilliant breakfast. Can't fault the place at all and I've stayed in the more expensive places in llanberis, they don't come close for me!
Location was great. We stayed here as we wanted to do Snowdon and it’s the closest hotel to the llanberis path. Our room had a great view breakfast was great we had views of the Padarn lake. Would definitely return. Staff were also really good
Oh how lovely this was! Super central location, near the lake and the Llanberis Path. Near shops and pubs. All you need. Great room with great bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Already booked my next stay with them for when I go to Snowdonia!
Lovely hotel. We got the corner room with the view of Snowdon . Short walk from the llanberis path of Snowdon and local amenities. Heaters in room . Lovely facilities . Everything you needed . Bed was comfy.
Location perfect for a night relax after climbing up Snowdon Mountain. With a private car park , room quiet even though that’s a bar below our room and convenient shop just opposite the hotel. Thanks
In the heart of Llanberis, a cozy place to stay and explore Snowdonia with family and dogs. Has everything you need and Becky was a super host. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
Friendly staff and great location. It's still COVID and a little early in the season so everything wasn't fully open but that's not on the hotel. Would definitely return.
