Manchester does not have enough green space in the centre! (I stayed in Piccadilly).it doesn't have an 'old town' per se, either. I don't really understand the city planning that went into this place. The Manchester Museum was a bit of a bust, but the People's Museum of Manchester was outstanding. I wouldn't go out of my way to travel to Manchester again.

It is a beautiful city! A lot of people in street, weather was very good and many people enjoying tthe good weather having some drinks in terraces 🌕 Went to visit the Imperial Museum of War, Manchester Art Gallery, Manchester United Megastore and Coronation Street Experience! Manchester is great if you want to watch Manchester United football game, but it was less vibrant than I thought it would be. There are a few cool places to go, but overall you could easily see what you need in a day .

The best is good train connection to other more attractive towns (York, Nottingham, Chester, Liverpool for example) as well as a good start place to continue to North Wales, Isle of Man or Lake District. The Manchester Hampton by Hilton is great, 15 min walk from city center, but if you don't want to walk, there is a bus station right across the hotel. The breakfast is great, especially the English breakfast :) I sincerely recommend it to anyone who goes to visit Manchester.
