Located in Weitenegg on the Danube River, Wirtshaus Gruber offers direct access to the Danube Bicycle Trail and the Way of Saint James. Set beside a lake and the river Danube, there's nice woody lake walk right outside the door, the food was delicious and the owner was very attentive. Breakfast was delightful too. Very pleased we stayed here and would happily stay again. Nice cosy place with a warm homely feeling.

A traditional Viennese-style café in a 16th-century building in the pedestrian zone in the centre of Melk, Madar Café Restaurant zum Fürsten is only 500 metres from Melk Abbey. Location right in the old town with parking available. Short walk up to the Melk Abbey. Room was spacious, light and airy. We had a nice dinner at their cafe and breakfast was good.

Set in Leiben, within 10 km of Melk Abbey and 8 km of Erzherzog Franz Ferdinand Museum, Gasthaus Donaublick offers accommodation with a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free... I love to come back here any time I'm driving from Germany to Romania, it's an amazing view from my room due to the Danube. I enjoy the variety of breakfast and the kindness of the owners, very beautiful people.
