All the girls were lovely and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Very high quality furniture and linens, handed down from generations, I was told. We had a nice garage to store our bicycles, and were snug as bugs in our 2nd floor room. Breakfast was wholesome and delicious. Did I mention the furnishings? We were humbled by three generations of beautiful, strong women. I wanted to stay and hear more of their stories and the history of the place.

Gästehaus - Kretschmannshof is offering accommodation in Oberasbach. WiFi and private parking are provided free of charge. It was more than okay. The meal was so delicious. and the staff were smiling. I stayed there for work and had to travel to Nurenberg via train each morning, which is why I couldn't have a chance to have a long breakfast. I wish I could have more time to have a long breakfast while enjoying spectacular meals with their good coffee.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, Familiengasthof Schaller is set in the village of Floß in the Bavaria Region, directly at the bike path Bockl. Such a quiet location. Also everything is brand new and perfectly clean, a delight to stay there for a couple of nights. Friendly staff, easy going and forthcoming, I could highly recommend this facility to anyone having to spend some time in the Weiden area. Looking for a good rest with guaranteed quiet nights? This is where you should go 😁

Schwaigeralm has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Kreuth. With a bar, the property also features a casino. incredibly friendly staff, very clean and comfortable and the food is exceptional. 10/10 would recommend.

This guesthouse is situated within the historic walls of Kloster Weltenburg, the oldest monastery in Bavaria. It lies in the Weltenburger Enge conservation area, near the romantic River Danube. Wonderful, peaceful, friendly sanctuary. Beautiful location on the bank of the river. Rooms are lovely and very clean. The restoration of the building is of very high quality with great attention to detail. Wifi is super fast. There are beautiful walks around the area, all the way to the neighbouring town Kelheim. There is even a ferryman who takes you to the other side of the river for 2 euros! Resturant has excellent food and is well priced in my opinion. There is a brewery in the monastery and the Barock Dunkel beer is particularly delicious. When coming back from my walk, a monk stopped and helped us with directions, very friendly and so nice. I originally booked two nights but ended up staying for three.
