Set in Dalton in Furness, 35 km from World of Beatrix Potter, Red Lion Rooms - Self Check In offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The inn features family rooms. What a great find. Location in is perfect to explore the Lake District. The room had a beautiful outdoor court yard, a fantastic communal space with coffee machine, microwave, cutlery and crockery. The room was spacious, beautiful bathroom, the fridge was stocked with juice, milk and yoghurt. There was cereal and bowls. Not expected but appreciated. TheBrown Cow Inn was walking distance and the food was great. They also deliver. Overall great place to stay.

Built around 1590 as a miner's cottage known as 'Dove Cottage', The Langstrath Country Inn is a small family-run property offering accommodation in Stonethwaite. Parking is available. Absolutely everything. Great welcome, lovely room, stunning views, amazing dinner and breakfast, great service and delicious packed lunch. Chef deserves 2 hats! Cosy and atmospheric too.

Located in Barrow-in-Furness, Ormsgill Inn features free WiFi access and free private parking. Guests can enjoy a drink at the on-site bar, as well as the pool table and darts board. Absolutely everything. We cannot fault this property and highly recommend it. The location, the facilities, the breakfast and the staff are excellent. It was by far the best B&B we stayed in during our whole trip.

Only problem was we didn't have long enough here so are going to have to re visit. Stayed here but wedding at villa Leven's. Rooms/staff/Breakfast first classing. Nothing not to like thanks

Situated in the quaint village of Boot, The Boot Inn offers free WiFi access, free parking, a bar and a restaurant. Very friendly people, beautiful location with very nice garden, good ffod, nice atmosphere.

Three Shires Inn is a family-run inn set in Little Langdale, in the heart of the Lake District National Park. Perfect location. Small but lovely room with everything we needed, comfy bed, nice bathroom etc. Excellent breakfast and evening meals. Friendly service. We will come again.

This hotel is situated in the centre of the village of Bowness-on-Windermere, just 2 minutes’ walk from the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. Wi-Fi is free in public areas. The room is a bit cramped but the facilities were perfect and we had a great two days there. It was very close to the boat pier and easy to eat.

This traditional 17th-century Cumbrian inn is set in the Eden Valley, between the old market towns of Appleby and Penrith. Excellent food , great service lovely clean room
