Located in Cartagena de Indias, 492 feet the nearest beach, Oz Hotel Luxury features air-conditioned accommodations and a bar. When we checked in they had given us a room in their sister hotel round the corner as they said it was newer and our room was more spacious. The room was gorgeous, new, clean and massive just as they said. Bed was big and comfy. Cable box in the room with Netflix. Great location on the strip. Excellent value for money. Decent breakfast.

We had a top room with a terrace overlooking the castle, beautiful view. The 140 cm bed was comfortable and big enough for us. The room had ok hot water in the shower. Very good breakfast and always offering a variety of fruits for free during the whole stay. Julio at the reception was exceptionally helpful and a lot of fun to discuss all sorts of things including tropical fruits, markets, tourist attractions etc. Overall fantastic. Would never stay anywhere else if visiting Cartagena.

Located within a 15-minute drive from the San Felipe Castle in Cartagena de Indias, Hotel Oz offers free WiFi access, a meeting room, and an on-site bar. Bocagrande beach is just 656 feet away. The area was awesome. Many restaurant options. The restaurant at the main hotel was simply amazing. The food was to die for. This was two blocks off the beach, but I was there for only one night and did not need the beach. The outdoor, rooftop smoking area was perfect for me, as was the street view from my room.

Everything was clean and the room super comfortable. All members of the staff are really kind and helpful. The breakfast is really good. The pool is actually a decent size to cool off and is kept clean.

Francisco, the owner, ensured that my stay was memorable and enjoyable. by recommending and finding the perfect tourist attraction for me. I'm a hard critic when it comes to food but the entree's served here was "Chef's kiss". The premises is gated but the neighborhood is very safe - for added security there is a guard after 4 pm. The location is close to nearby restaurants as well as other attractions. What more to say - you'll love this place!

Favorite: Plaza de Bolivar Best quick place: La Esquina Del Pan De Bono. Restaurants: San Valentine, La Mulata. Getting around is super easy. Fun Activities: La Chiva, Playa Blanca, Baru.

Everything is walking distance.
Everything is walking distance. People are very friendly and helpful. We felt very safe walking around at all times even late at night around midnight. Lots of police visible. We loved shopping at las Bóvedas. La plaza Santo Domingo is the place to hang out, listen to live music and people watch during the evening! We took the city tour which was nice. Definitely take the horse carriage ride! Beautiful way to see the town and learn about its history through its driver. Go to Parque Bolivar around 6 to watch the folkloric dancers. The tour to the Totumo volcano was a fun one because you can bathe in the mud. What a fun experience! All this was easily done with my 5 and 8 year olds in tow.
