From the moment we checked in we were treated as special guests and told about the great things to do in the area. Our rooms as requested were close together and top rate. Each morning we enjoyed the provided breakfast and the general facilities of the hotel. It is a beautiful building that really fits into the magical atmosphere of Edinburgh. The porter - Michael - was particularly helpful.
