It's clean, very quiet, you feel like you're in the middle of the jungle, 2 minutes walking to the restaurant, breakfast was great, dinner and cocktails also, parking in front of the door, we looooved it. It was with mild intrepidation we took the route from the north (which can be a little narrow and bumpy at parts), though we comfortably managed in a 7 seater suv. What welcomed us was a welcoming family and charming fishing village tucked away in the Yucatan peninsula. We saw the true passion that Sergio and Rossana gave to maintaining the crocodile population in and around the region. We were so happy to spend a couple of days here and try the lovely fish and empanadas that they have to offer. Thank you both for such a lovely welcome! 🙏🏼 PS. The route to the village has plenty of flamingos and other birds to see, keep an eye out when you're on the sing-lane road with water and hedges on both sides.

The hotel has very much a spa-like atmosphere. There is relaxing music all around at the reception and the pool. Available drinks during the day. Exactly like in spa. The room was spacious enough and well equipped with AC and fans. The temperature was possible to be set perfectly. Location of the hotel is perfect in the historical center. Very safe and with a lot of options close by.

Just 2 blocks from Campeche Cathedral, Hotel Plaza Colonial offers an outdoor pool, free private parking and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. Excellent location in the city centre, close to the seaside as well. Spacious clean rooms decorated in colonial style. We even had a bathtub, which was very helpful with the kids. Good water pressure and temperature. Friendly, helpful staff. The room was really quiet, even though there was quite a lot of traffic in the street it faced, due to the good sound isolation in the windows/balcony. The view from the balcony was nice and there was private parking in the courtyard. We were even allowed to keep our car there after the checkout to enjoy a bit more of sightseeing.
