The hospitality of Rob and Karen from De Magneet Hotel is beyond any expectation. A great family hotel, with a warm environment, clean and quiet, nice breakfast and an intimate bar in the lobby. We stayed at the big family apartment which had plenty of room, a balcony with a peaceful view and was well-equipped. The hotel is situated in Hoorn, north of Holland, so we could explore the north easily - texel, Amsterdam, Alkmaar, Volendam - all about 30-40 minutes drive. Close to Lidl supermarket, 3 minutes drive. Great experience, one to remember:)

You will find Hotel Old Dutch / Restaurant Le Pompadour in front of the world Famous Volendam harbour. The view from our room was so spectacular. The people were friendly and helpful. The location is great. I also love that they sent a list of local park houses to use. Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Enkhuizen is a fabulous small town right on the IJsselmeer and this is an excellent hotel right in the city center - close to and well within walking distance to all the beautiful sights. Above that the hotel is exceptionally clean and feels like it was renovated quite thoroughly recently. This leads to very modern rooms and a nice atmosphere - only surpassed by the friendly staff.

The Hotel Spaander is a place to fall in love with. The artpieces skattered on the walls of the old hotel tell the history of this place but also the history of Volendam. This place is a Gem. Not really in the city center and behind outdoor activity places so you didn't expect much but the hotel was great. New and relatively modern and right on the beach. The room was fine, the breakfast had a super selection. And I I felt for the first time on our trip that the price was right. - I can also recommend the restaurant right across the way. - The food was really tasty.
