The hosts welcomed us warmly upon arrival and the place they have is just adorable. The house is spacious and very tidy and clean, with airconditioning. The breakfast, personally served by the host was just splendid! This is what you want when you are traveling south in Thailand.

The Kung Nok Tha Resort - a TOP address I highly recommend the resort!! We stayed there for a few days and were absolutely thrilled: The location directly on the small river is magical and the beautiful bungalows are built in a great bamboo grove. It really comes up with a jungle feeling. The food was very tasty and authentic, real original Thai cuisine. Chef Wirot was incredibly helpful in all matters: shuttle service, great tips for excursions (including his scooter) and even took us on a private Sun Rise tour in the jungle. The food, cooked by Wirot's wife, was very tasty and authentic - real original Thai cuisine. If you want to experience the original Thailand, this is the place for you: we were the only foreigners there. We will visit the Khao Luang again and then definitely again at Wirot in the Kung Nok Tha Resort.
