Very helpful staff, if you have a problem or question they will take care of it. They talk to you and offer advice on your daily activities, they called 4-5 different places to get us a good deal on a canue renting. Nice pool and the garden very well maintained. The laguna is 5 min walk. You wont be sorry if you stay here. Thak you for having us.

The best place you could find in Bacalar, my partner and I had a lovely stay, they have an exclusive entrance to the lagoon and one wonderful deck to enjoy. Seriously we are 100% coming back to this place in our next visit.

Personnel were super friendly and extremely helpful! Bikes and single person Kayaks were available for free... Great view from the cabins... Cabin 4 was my favorite!! Other cabins are also awesome but 4 was much better than 6 or 7. Jose Antonio, Yoli, and Roberto are awesome! And I'm sorry to the cleaning ladies cause I didn't get their names but the rooms were impeccable.. even though I didn't get their names, I left the cleaning ladies their tips each day though! Overall this place was one of the most beautiful places I've been to!! Thanks Bacalar my love and staff!!

Totem Buenavista has free bikes, outdoor swimming pool, a garden and restaurant in Bacalar. The hotel features both free WiFi and free private parking. I had such an amazing NYE at Aldea Elvira! The beds are located in lovely little houses and very convenient with light, fans, electricity and also blankets as nights can be chilly sometimes. Ezequiel Joel and Sem were so very welcoming and helpful everytime and give this place a real feel-like-home feeling. Beautiful setting, and access to a private Laguna spot with chill atmosphere. Easily accessible walking or by bike (10mn) that can be borrowed for free. Amazing sunrise if you go there early. This spot was the most beautiful, peaceful and wild I’ve seen from the Laguna. It’s also really easy to meet and mingle with people, and different places around the garden to chill. Lots of activities to chose from and a nice restaurant too. I came renting a scooter from Bacalar but the road is the freeway so better come by car or colectivo. I actually extended my stay as I liked it so much. Thank you so much guys, highly recommending !

The owner Flor was easy to reach on WhatsApp, helped us find the best restaurants in town and booked a taxi to the bus station for us. As we don't speak Spanish, this was extremely helpful for us. Also, she is an extremely warm and welcoming woman.

Wonderful newly furnished property right on the lake. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The ability to book the palapa for a private meal on the lake was a huge highlight for us. The food was also absolutely delicious - expect fine dining!
